Alex Stagliano (AStagliano@gsu.edu) serves as the
Assistant Director of the Usery Center, focusing on the Center’s
daily operations and Academic and Business Development. He holds
an LL.M. in Dispute Resolution with a concentration in Mediation
from Pepperdine University School of Law’s Straus Institute. He
earned his law degree from the University of Wyoming and
Bachelors of Science in Education from West Chester University
(Pennsylvania). Born and raised in Philadelphia, he has traveled
and lived extensively throughout the United States.
He possesses over twenty years of
business management, organization and human resources
experience. He has over fifteen years of educational experience,
as a teacher, coach, mentor-teacher and curriculum designer.
Alex has work experience in local and state government,
including the Wyoming legislature, Wyoming Secretary of State’s
office and prosecution assistance clinic (University of
Wyoming). Mr. Stagliano has also operated a solo mediation
practice, providing facilitation and training. Additional
dispute resolution experience includes work as a mediator in the
Los Angeles County Court System, as a union leader in his
teachers’ union, as a peer mediation advocate and as a private
mediator and trainer
